A Day Like No Other (Part IV)

You manage to get back to your home and quickly change into your reunion dinner attire before heading to the high school in which you had your education a few years back. Your alma mater looks the same as when you left with white walls and green outlines and red roofs. The main hallway connects the main hall and the academic building where the classrooms and teachers’ offices are located. Many event dinners and other ceremonies have been held in the huge hall. You can see that evening it has been decorated extravagantly, welcoming guests and staff alike. Arriving outside the hall entrance, you look at your watch. It is almost 9.00 p.m. The dinner has already started, according to schedule at 8.00 p.m. so you are indeed late. You immediately walk towards the registration table upon entering where a number of school staff are waiting to check you in and give you your table number.

Suddenly, everyone in the hall hears a loud scream. From the scream, you deduce it came from one of the classrooms across the hallway. Some guests are shocked, some quickly run up from their seats to find out what has happened. Intuitively, you follow one of the dinner committee to the scene. Arriving at one of the classrooms, the body of a young lady lies motionless on the floor.
