So, when he and Natasha came back from their movie date, Khausar was inside his house waiting for an opportunity to catch him red-handed. Unfortunately, Natasha left without entering Meor's house and Khausar confronted him afterwards. In a heat of rage and jealousy, she took his knife and stabbed him in his back!”
After listening to your deductions, Constable Raihanah immediately handcuffs Khausar Jasni and informs the other officers to escorts her to jail. Then, she releases the other suspects for them to get back to their normal lives. She congratulates you for solving the case.
You look at your watch and it is already 5.00 p.m. so you hurriedly excuse yourself because you are having a reunion dinner later that evening. As the police station is nearby your house, you decide to walk back. On your way back, you see the house which was the scene of the murder. Curiously, you walk to the house to take a quick peek. You find someone was already in the house as the door is open. You step into the house to find not the police, but Dini Hazirah, sitting alone in the kitchen. She looks sad, most probably because her boyfriend has been murdered by another woman. You politely greet her and she explains to you that the police have given her permission to enter the house while they had gone back to file the necessary report on the case.
"Let me make you something to drink," Dini offers as she is used to the items in her deceased boyfriend's house and you gladly accept her offer. "It is sad that I no longer will be seeing Meor and this house." You stay quiet to let her moan her loss.
She passes you a cup of tea that she has made and both of you toast your drinks as an honour and tribute to the deceased. However, before you sip the tea, you are able to smell something different with it. Then, you realise that the tea was poisoned! You quickly fling the hot tea across the table and the poisonous liquid hit Dini’s face. You have just realised that the real culprit is the lady sitting in front of you.
Dini is caught by surprise by the hot beverage and while she is struggling with the hot liquid on her face, you manage to subdue and restrain her. You quickly contact Inspector Amar Najmi and after a few minutes, the police are there to take her in. As it is already 6.00 p.m., You apologise for your previous incorrect deduction to Inspector Amar before you excuse yourself as you need to prepare yourself for a reunion dinner at your alma mater at 8.00 p.m.
